Thank you @icj and @Leifmb , asked Telsa again today and same answer. No ETA.

And that answers my next question: how much time will i have to schedule delivery? Seems like about 1-2 days (e.g. - if you get notified at 10AM on Monday you have to pickup by Weds at 10am or you will lose it)

I picked up the morning after I was notified. Notification came out of nowhere.

So if you get an advisor that is willing to work with you and help they are able to use your registration number and VIN and search for the car and see where it is. They can actually tell you that it is in transport, where it is going and coming from and an estimated delivery date. That's the only reason I know the car will land at our dealership on Feb 3rd...They can also tell you if the delivery date is solid or if it somewhat questionable and not yet a solid date.

Thank you this is good to know - once I get my vin. Since I live 2 hours away from where I’ll be picking up, I’m planning on just scrambling an (expensive) uber

A 2 hour drive to the closest SC would have been a deal breaker for purchasing a Cybertruck. Thats commitment!

Rent a car at Hertz and drop it off at a closer location? Then uber to the SC?

Well that’s my first idea! Although Im prepared to not have flexibility on delivery CT pickup time so that I can reserve and then go pickup rental same day or night before

You should have a three day window and specific times you need to be there. It will be there in the delivery section of the app. Per the purchase agreement, you'll be given a three day window to choose your pick up time.

what is your spec? I still don’t even have a vin (it was given and taken back 3 times) and I’m wondering if it’s a particular spec?

mine is a non foundation AWD, tactile interior with cyber wheels.

Beast, Gray interior and Core wheels-which is a pretty rare spec as most people go with Core Wheels. I like the Cyber wheels WITHOUT the hub caps-will never put em on.

Mine is the same exact spec, non foundation AWD, grey interior and cyber wheels.

I do wonder if there's something up with the AWD spec too, seems like the folks ordering/taking delivery in January have orderd the Beast...maybe I should reconfigure and see what happens ?

Sorry about the roller coast on vin reassignment...I'm now not feeling so bad with Tesla giving me the silent treatment (and no VIN). Silver lining for me is I'll have my L2 charger and powershare installed next week and so i'll be ready for my Cybertruck when i bring her home for the first time.

i think Tesla does batch jobs when they manufacturer for efficiency purposes. So it’s not a coincidence that others have taken delivery and both you and I have not got a VIN and have exact same spec. They may have done a run with beast and/or white interior this week. Also means that likely we should be getting a vin in the next 5-7 days as they start the run on tactile interior.

I like the sound of this and totally makes sense. Hopefully we both get an update soon! Will be sure to share when I get my vin.
