I have two Tesla’s a Model S and a CT. I did not want to carry two Tesla keys, so I got one of the keys for the model S and made it a spare key for the CT. It worked just fine. so now one key two vehicles.

How do you convert the key's application? I have three keys for my MS and only one for CT. I bought two CT keys from Tesla. They sent me two more MS keys.

I use one plastic Tesla key card for all my Tesla vehicles (3)
My wife also uses one Tesla plastic key card for all our Tesla vehicles.
Beats carrying multiple cards.
No reason why it wouldn't work for multiple Tesla's.

You can take an existing card key and just add it to each car in the locks menu.
