My ‘07 Tundra was a Hertz Rental before I got it. No issues whatsoever and 220k miles on it. Probably hit 250k before my CT comes in.

Renting out your Cybertruck on Turo? Now, that's an intriguing idea! If I had one, I'd definitely mull it over. It's like making some extra cash while your truck isn't in use, right? As for pricing, I reckon I'd do some research, check out similar listings on Turo, and then set a competitive rate.
Speaking of rentals, let me tell you about my experience with renting a car in France. It was my first time visiting Europe, and I wanted to explore the countryside. Renting a car was a game-changer - cruising through picturesque villages, vineyards, and rolling hills was an adventure I'll never forget. So, if you ever find yourself in France, looking to hit the road, those rental services are definitely worth considering.

Right now there’s not much competition. Theses trucks are spread out all over the place in the states that have had deliveries and even when you have a saturated market like Southern California, more folks are making YouTube videos than renting them out. I agree with competitive pricing but depending on location you could have a monopoly.

Maybe Tesla can create a rental fleet in select markets. More of a 1 day maximum that allows people to test it first hand , but not abuse it in a real work scenario. Something that they can rent cheap enough and then give a refund toward a purchase agreement. Sort of like the $100 deposit we already have these last 4 years.

I’ll mention this plan to Elon when I see him on the 30th(y)

Tesla already does this. After you take a test drive in a car (Model Y) they then ask, a couple days later, if you want to take an extended demo. The extended demo is for two days or three days if it’s over a Sunday. They got me with this. I didn’t buy new but I found a Model Y that a guy was selling. Love the car!

i would never put my truck on turo, you know you will have idiots renting it and doing all sorts of stuff just to make videos .. look at TechRax for example, if its his or a willing participant who knows. it could very well be a turo rental lol

Maybe in a couple of years.
I have called three showrooms in my area, gave them my low Reservation number, and said I would like a test drive before spending $120,000 on a vehicle. Two said no, the third laughed......

You can test drive all the Model Ys you want, but the cybertruck you buy it and figure out if you like it, which is what a lot of people are doing currently.
