100% agreed! Just picked mine up last Tuesday and it has been nothing short of amazing. The look on people faces when I show them all the features makes them instant believers and let’s not even get into FSD. I have 250 miles already and 95% have been the truck driving and driving extremely well even in Miami traffic. Don’t miss my F250 at all.

I addressed this in another thread, but bonding plastic to metal is not the best idea, particularly in an environment where vibration is an issue, such as this trim peice where buffering off the windshield and mirrors.

Despite advances in adhesives, the problem lies in the fact the most metals have a high surface energy, and most plastics have a low surface energy.

Usually what bonds well to metal will not bond well to plastics, or vice versa.

For metal, epoxy adhesives are usually used, But epoxy is usually only used on Cat 6, 7 and 9 plastics.

It appears as thought there is no mechanical treatment of the sails i have seen, so I would assume it is chemically treated. This is a good idea in a lot of situations, but probably not so where vibration is an issue.

I would suggest to Tesla, and any home repair efforts, to use a layer of vibration dampening rubber between the 2 layers. It's commonly used in ski manufacturing to bond metal edges to UHMW or ABS.

Really? This is metal to metal bonding, not metal to plastic. And it is done ALL the time, including major structural elements on supercars.

One poster here said he got a “phantom” FS that came with all the FS extras but was not a FS. He said it was buffed off.

?
It should show in settings of vehicle if it is a foundation series. That’s hard coded

Tesla (TSLA) Shares Plunge 5% on Cybertruck Quality Concerns
Nauman khan - Tue, March 18, 2025 at 7:45 AM CDT 1 min read

March 18 - Tesla (TSLA, Financial) shares continued to plunge on Monday, shedding about 5% as the reports have emerged concerning quality issues with Tesla's Cybertruck pickups. Over the last few days, customers have posted incident reports on the Cybertruck Owners Club website detailing problems with metal panels detaching. Videos of the damage, particularly in cold weather, have also gone viral on social media site X.

The comments over there. ?

Apparently, we’re all gullible simpletons for buying the truck in the first place.

They showed the online application that the protesters used to get the job. DJT is having the feds look into the organizers.

Let’s just say I’m from Missouri.

First three minutes of their video released within the past hour shows the news conference from Washington showing the vandals caught, charges listed and further actions against their employers.

This will be the last time I humor someone by watching dribble that I no longer am interested in. So your statement is false they’re literally is nothing in the first three minutes other these guys fellating their favorite president and doing their thing, then after scrubbing around they seem to be highlighting several disparate incidents of individuals, unlawfully, but independently expressing their displeasure with Elon/Tesla.

And that’s what’s happening everywhere dude you can believe that Soros or whoever is responsible for people being outraged and that’s your choice. I’ll leave you to it.

So I guess you missed the part with Pam Bondi, the Attorney General, where she saId that she has already ordered an investigation into the employers of the vandals.
Seems like you were letting your attitude get in the way of listening.

You’re both right so relax. Both can be true and both are. You can argue on the spectrum but there are absolutely coordinated efforts and independent efforts. All you need is an idea and motivation whether right or wrong.

You seem to think that somebody conducting an investigation pre-determines the outcome of said investigation. Is that how you think it works? Let me assure you it isn’t.

The existence of coordinated, as well as, independent efforts/attacks neither implies nor proves that anyone is being paid by anyone (which was the only part of the assertion that I was addressing). These are not the same thing.

And if there’s a time when I’m not relaxed, you’ll know it. This ain’t that.
