Given how extreme the product was bending, I’m guessing that this “screen protector” isn’t HD Glass? It’s some kind of plastic?

Definitely going to need to hear an update in a month or two about this product. There is a reason all good phone screen protectors are HD Glass….

Curious though, maybe it’s a good enough, but imo this is like wrapping HFS with vinyl for protection when we all know the vinyl substrate will scratch before the HFS will.

I've been searching ~3 times a week for glass protectors to pop up, they do not currently exist. I have an anti reflective one in my model Y for glare reduction, and couldn't possibly imagine going without. Glossy screens and giant glass roofs are not compatible .

HD glass. It breaks. Not the screen. Vinyl just keeps the glass intact after break. Sharp impacts break glass. A piece of vinyl is only good for scratches, and maybe glare reduction.
