I just installed these on my CT.

Found these on Amazon for $250, they are four separate cybertruck shaped running boards. And they do not block the lift points.

On the passenger side I ran into an issue though. These have bolts that go into the holes provided on the CT, except there is one the passenger side that is messed up from the factory.

There is threading there, but it looks like the drilled out a bit too much of the Golden bottom and went into the underneath plate too much. Here is what the others look like:

These do stick out a bit beyond the tires:

At least your lift points are accessible and you don’t need to remove them jacking up the truck. Seems like a practicable design .

I don't know. Those U-channels mounted crosswise look like they would anchor me to the snowpack a lot easier than a smooth under-belly. I wouldn't be willing to nerf the snow performance simply for a step when getting in/out.

It's taking about 1.5 inches from the bottom, so it's not that much. And it is still higher than the shields on the suspension - I noticed that while installing. I had the same concern, but it's a moot point especially since we can raise our suspension if needed. I do wish the anchors were rounded on the bottom though, would make that less likely to catch on things.

I've got parents that have a hard time climbing in so that is the main reason for getting these. Frankly after one day of using these, I'm liking them too.

Anyone have thoughts on that messed up threading? I'm going to make an SC appointment and see if they can do anything.

Here is the link to these if anyone wants them - they were just on sale for $250, but now back up to $290.

Hehe. I posted a similar post about these steps a few hours before you did. Brilliant minds I guess. I got them for the $250 as well, which I thought was a great deal, especially since they would be easy to return if I did not like them.
My wife has RA, so she is why I got them and she gave me the thumbs up, so they are good for me.
Fortunately, my holes did not have any issues, so they fit fine.
I don't do off roading, so was not really concerned with the effect on that specific performance issue.

Just saw your thread - we posted within a few hours of each other. I just noticed today that I have little bit of powder coating coming off the front drivers side step.

It's just bent sheet metal so couldn't be tapped.
It looks to me like a rivnut that pulled out or was never crimped. You can see the tear in the ecoat/ paint where the outer lip was.
Body shop can probably fix, but it's not a typical service process.

I've been waiting on some single step options for running boards. Do they feel study with the mount? If you could make any changes to the steps, other than the passenger side issue, what would they be?

Yes. I have the same steps installed and they do feel pretty sturdy, imo.
The only thing I would change is the shape. While I don't mind the CT shape, I think a more rectangular shape would be an improvement. The wide spot works fine for stepping in/out, but a rectangular shape might be better for tasks like reaching stuff on a roof rack. Actually a full running board might be better for reach stuff on a roof rack, if that is what you need, as it would allow you to use the step the full length of the cab. Being that I don't have, nor expect to use, a roof rack, losing that functionality wasn't a big deal to me.

I like those. Nice alternative to running boards. Fits the design of the truck. Good Job!
