Here's a photo: Video didn't let me upload for some reason
The right side is the correct way. Pushed fully in when water comes down the cover it pools and prevents it from going into the bed.
The left side has a small gap which causes the water to run down.
It's not CRAZY bad but it does cause water to leak into the truck bed which is where my fridge and outlets are.

What do you guys think? They said in order to fix it they would have to take it to a body shop and who knows if it even gets fixed correctly.

And.. how are your guys?
The test.. cover and tail gate closed. Run a hose on shower down the cover to see if it pools or runs through it.

I would offer to help you troubleshoot... but I still am awaiting delivery. ? Please try to upload a video, it will more clearly help show what you are trying to say.

Enjoy hosing down your truck and hope you find a solution for the leaking!

Is the gap on one side because of the rubber seal is uneven? Is there a way to seal it with like tape on the inside?

Super even. It's due to the tailgate not pushing in further being super flush up against the seal.
oh coo! Uploaded a vid by responding!

Interesting - I’m supposed to get my Cybertruck next week. Will try the same test!

I’d say seal it up. I’m gonna do it with some stuff off Amazon for mine to try to cut down dust/water intrusion.

for the bottom gap of tailgate to vault floor: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C0WVV72?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

for the top edges of tailgate to sides and touching the tonneau cover: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZS4MQ1X?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

stuffs all pretty rubbery and squishy so I don’t anticipate it’ll prevent anything from closing.

Calibrate your tonneau cover. It set the end points for the open and closed position. Found in the service menu. My tonneau was binding up one side was not as far down when fully closed. This calibration helped a lot.

Wow. Thanks for sharing this on behalf of everyone getting trucks. Love the tip on recalibration feature. Let us know if that works, or how you figure it out. I would guess you're not going to be the only one.

Interesting. Yeah I'll go to the secret service menu and calibrate it but it does seem to be the physical truck lift gate. I got a weather strip to test out too.

Hats off to whoever said to calibrate the tonneau cover.
Didn’t seem like it would fix it because clearly the tail gate was physically not as close on the left vs the right side.
However went into the secret service menu and calibrated it just for fun and now the left side is also flush against the tail gate making it much more water proof!!
