Took the CT out today in a Texas "gully-washer", heavy rain and wind. Gotta love that BAW lol.

Afterwards I checked the bed for water, and saw only minor drips around the edges, mostly what I was expecting. But then I noticed this:

The intersection of the two angles causes a natural water channel, directly over the bed outlets. The cover kept the outlets dry, and they're disabled anyway, but this could become an issue if using the outlets in wet conditions.

Might need to create another channel away from the outlets. Maybe a piece of string taped on. Ghetto, lol
How much rain/puddle hopping did it take to get this little stream going?

It was a heavy downpour for nearly an hour.

FYI, this gave me the opportunity to get familiar with the wiper controls:
  • A press of the "wiper" button gets one swipe
  • This also brings up the on-screen wiper controls
  • The left scroll wheel can then be used to select the various speeds (or Auto)
  • When wiping at levels 1 through 4, subsequent presses of the button cycles through them

I also got the "womp womp" when the wiper changed direction, but holding the button for some washer fluid would diminish the noise for a few minutes.
