No issues with LEO yet. It’s also a secondary offense here. Recently started noticing other local CT drivers are finally getting dark tint, to include their windshield. I get a feeling many thought they’d love the attention, until that attention wasn’t necessarily positive. That looks great! Had mine done months ago because of the inside heat build up. Worried about the reports of the roof glass or windshield developing cracks due to the heat as a result of putting on the tint.
The other question I had is that many of us have put a very dark tint on the windows; has anyone had any problems with law-enforcement claiming that is an illegal tint?
The truck looks good without mirrors. I still use my mirrors so reluctant to remove them. I noticed that it's probably possible to drive the truck while only looking at the screen and not even looking out of the windshield. If there was a video game that replicated the screen interface it would be interesting to see if my theory is correct.Hoping the coppers are amazed by the looks of the truck and let it slide. I also removed the side mirrors. Which I think in Texas you need one but haven’t had any issues on that so far. Just keeping my fingers crossed!!!
My previous car was a 718 cayman with darker tint and no front license plate. Didn’t have any issues for 2 years.
That’s actually not a bad idea on the video game. I’ve been looking for a game that has the cybertruck to drive on my Xbox sim.The truck looks good without mirrors. Exactly. The point is to train myself to be very comfortable using the screen to see blind spot during lane changes, backing, pulling into spaces. I use the parking space lines on the screen to determine if I'm centered in a parking space or if I'm centered in a lane to see how close the truck is to parked cars at the right. I live in an area with narrow streets and cars parked on both sides. That’s actually not a bad idea on the video game. I’ve been looking for a game that has the cybertruck to drive on my Xbox sim.
