I had already ordered a Model 3 - RWD standard range white with white interior - Due December 20 or so, and then this beast arrived! I have my order in for both the 3 and the Cybertruck- but tell me why, living in Minnesota, I wouldn't rather have a vehicle that would never rust, and would pull my boat - for roughly the same price?
And...
can hold 6 people when necessary
can withstand small door dings and scratches
can avoid cracking the windshield with highway rocks
can carry 3500 pounds when necessary
can power things including other EVs
can rise up on its air suspension and give a cushier ride or go off road
can recharge itself with built in solar
can charge at 250 vs the sub 150 of the model 3
have I even mentioned the monstrous amount of storage?

Given I don't need the small frame of the Model 3 for parking in cities - is there any reason other than liking a small sporty car that one would pick the Model 3? Would love to hear more advantages of either.

Also - opinion on paying the extra 10K for dual motor and range? Thanks all!

Model 3 advantages:
- less attention (some people actually want attention, so this could be disadvantage too ;) )
- will handle better because smaller, lighter, lower center of gravity

Everything else is to the Cybertruck's advantage IMO.

Model 3 is here now Cybertruck is not.
Difference is $30,000 or $20,000, not $10,000. (prices 39,900 single, 49,900 dual, 69,900 tri)

My wife drives around our RWD Model 3 Standard range plus as the family car. Absolutely amazing product. We don't get a lot of snow where we are, only lasted a week and the RWD did just fine, all wheel drive not required here. If you have more snow I would recommend AWD though.
I've ordered the dual motor CT for myself to replace my 02' tacoma. The CT will be our winter get out trouble vehicle and my home improvement/trailer hauling rig.
If you don't need two vehicles and can manage the wait I personally go for the CT for all the reasons you mention above.
No knocks on the Model 3 though, great car.
