one other fleeting thought ? a truck with 20 inch rims and 35 inch tires and a gear ratio that is (guessing) most likely different than a sedan or suv could also be a contributing factor.

wonder if the gear ratio is different between the models?

another thought - mechanical locked in the rear motor vs torque vectoring in the tri-motor rear end might also be another key ? difference.
The Cybertruck has a louder motor sound than the other Teslas so maybe Cybertruck uses larger reduction gears and is geared differently.

So, if it is not the tires, what is the reason for the low top speed limit for the AWD? What else is different? It is hard to believe the dual motors don't have the capability.
As far as I remember, in most Cyberbeast drag race videos other than CARWOW Cyberbeast videos where they upgraded it, it topped out at approximately 115 mph and DragTimes did a top speed run with an AWD where it also topped out at approximately 115 mph. Interestingly, the Rivian R1T quad motor also tops out around 115 mph.

I have been very interested to learn more about Cybertruck motors but there is not that much information about them. There is a leak about new model 3 performance having a motor labeled 4D2 motor, and it says Model S is labeled as 5D2 motor in the same article with the model 3 performance motor link on the internet. Do you know if the Cybertruck uses the 4D2 motor, 5D2 motor, on another motor? I'm not really a big expert on motors but I love learning about the Cybertruck motors.
This is about as close as I think a we can get without being employed by Tesla or willing to tear down the vehicle ourselves.
