Pretty decent here in Michigan with Bridgestone Duelet AT Ascent tires. Much better than stock.

It’s great. I did the Coquihalla highway here in BC on the stock AT tires (don’t tell the authorities lol) and it worked amazing. It’s a truck with a lot of weight so it sticks to the ground. Still gotta be smart but it handles great.

The one thing I will say is that for some reason most people when they are talking to me about my truck say “I heard this thing is terrible in the snow” and so really all you have to deal with is people’s misconceptions about the CT and snow. Not the snow itself.

I live in Edmonton, Alberta, where the roads are covered in snow 6 months and temperatures sometimes get to -40C. The truck has been great - I drove it for a couple of weeks on the AT tires without issue. My wife insisted on the Tesla winter tires, so they're on there now. If I'm not careful, the truck will lose traction briefly on solid ice ridges created from the frozen snow, but that's to be expected. Otherwise, no issues - drives like a champ!

Ever get loud pulsating noises when the anti-lock brakes kick on in the snow? Mine does this only in the snow. Rain or ice the anti-lock brakes sound just like my other vehicles.

I can't say that I've ever activated the antilock brakes - when it starts sliding a bit, I just back off the go pedal, and I leave a good margin of error. My truck doesn't make any odd sounds (except for me giggling like a child when I drive it).

Severely disappointed. Went to the big open parking lot covered in ice to do some new vehicle “testing” and see what it’s like to do AWD 4WS donuts/slides. The truck wouldn’t allow me to slide worth a damn. The truck kept wheel spin to an absolute minimum and behaved like it was dry out. Disappointed, set destination and went for an uneventful drive in to work. Not sure what dynamic setting it was on but really want to slide this thing. Am I overlooking a setting?

Seriously though, what a marvel of machinery! Everything but the damn wiper is so good on this truck.

I haven't had the chance to test it in the snow yet. But I've heard you go into Baja mode and change the power to the rear. Then donut away. I'll test it when we get our snow here.

What is everyones real world experiance in the snow. Mine is actually good!
Same. Drove from Ohio to New York for a ski trip in the snow and it performed really well with the stock all terrain tires.

Mine does great. Minimal slip, does better than wife’s Subaru. If temps get really cold, below about 10F, won’t charge on 32amp mobile charger. No problem getting a charge on 48amp chargers.

I have no problem charging on 24A with the mobile charger, but there’s a known bug preventing charging on AC if the battery is too cold.

I had this issue my my mobile charger last weekend in northern MN with temps down to -20. Does your charger light just blink yellow as well?

I finally got mine to charge and the light turn green by sitting in the truck for 10 minutes with the heat on while I was scrolling for a solution. I'm guessing I was warming the battery enough to take a charge. Before that it sat for two days plugged in and never took a charge.

Frankly, living New Orleans I never thought I would be able to add my “two cents” to this subject. ? Well that changed yesterday with 8 plus inches of snow and no snow removal equipment south of Mason-Dixon line. To my amazement, CT performed ”outstanding” even with All-Season tires installed. What I noticed most, the traction control system didn’t allow individual wheels to spin. In fact, I was had press to cause any wheel to break traction and spin even pushing hard on throttle. It felt like the on board computer said “not going happen, son I am in charge of your safety“. ?

Yeah, that will cause pack heating, as will turning on climate from the app.
If you have extra SOC available and it's really cold, you can unplug the charge cord, activate the truck (if you have PIN enabled, you need to do that), and sit in it with destination set to a Supercharger (not sure if there is a distance limit). No need to actually put it in drive, park works.
That kicks in 16kW or so of heating and will get the pack in a chargeable state in 10-20 minutes at the expense of ~3% SOC per 10 minutes.
