Holy COW!!

Not just potential 1 mill volume, (which I doubt is needed), but surely it bodes well for a CT price reduction. For Australians, every dollar reduced can be worth almost twice as much.

And increased volume by say 2026... We may get it about then.
My take is that this is way too optimistic in both numbers and dates. Elon has said that the full capacity at Giga Texas *aspires* to be 250,000 Cybertrucks. I don't think we will see that before 2025, and 2026 will be the first year they produce that number.
*Assuming* that Giga Mexico will install a line equivalent to that of Giga Texas, we may see it start early production in 2026, and reach *annulaized full production by 2027, and actually produce 250K CT in 2028.

So, not a million/year by 2026., more like a half a million a year in 2028. Interestingly, this means that they will still be on the original 2 million+ pre-orders in 2028 *IF* (and it is a big IF that I don't believe will happen) at least 75% of pre-orders transition to purchases.

Tesla would not be considering a second line unless they plan to drop the price to more palatable levels.
uh....

So... The Mexico plant's output will be in excess of cartel truck needs?.
