Cybertruck being wrapped by @thediamondautosalon in Platinum mirror finish PPF paint protection film.

😅 You talk about glare. This owner is going get a lot of reaction for the glare that it creates, for sure. It reminds me of those tanker trucks with a mirror finished tanks

Has anyone that’s taken delivery not wrapped it?

There are only maybe 50-100 tops of these things in the wild to date. And it feels like we’ve seen what, 10-20 wraps?
I have been going through some of these companies websites and they are offering free wraps to early CT holders as promotionals. There has been other QA videos as well with the likes of “my cyber life” channel that admits they didn’t want to wrap there’s hut didn’t it because it was free.

In conclusion- I wonder how many CT owners actually paid full retail for their wraps at this point.

real good point - I bet few to none

there are a few people I’ve seen who have taken delivery and then come out and said they’ve turned more to social media etc., because basically to justify paying for it they needed to try to convert early ownership into a revenue stream.

There are hundreds of them out there already

there are not

Tesla to date has only built fewer than 440, total - that is a publicly known fact (see our VIN tracking thread for the gist)

less than half of those have left GFTX

Fewer than that have been delivered the last mile

I suppose if by “hundreds” you mean exactly 200, then you aren’t wildly off - but you’re still betting the over, and not in the money

Update:

more have now left GFTX than I thought - but still well south of the <440 built to date

So if by hundreds you meant instead like 300, that could be right!
