21' 3" long, 9' tall, 6'4" internal height.
I'm conjecturing about efficiency of this van.
A company called Maxwell vehicles will convert a Promasters using parts from totaled M3/MY. They will do it for about $35k. Maxwell is getting about 420 Wh/mile. With the 72 Kwh battery those Promasters have a range of about 170 miles.
If this Cybervan gets 420Wh/mile, a 200 Kwh battery would give a rated range of 475 miles.
This is my dream vehicle. Maybe $79k in 2024? Elon I have cash.

Uh.... that looks more like a CyberBus that I would expect a van to look. My person simplistic interpretation is you can stand up fully in a bus and you cannot in a van. I love the effort though and is something to build off of. :)

My Promaster is 6'4" tall and 6'8" wide. I think the newer bigger vans with stand up height and lay down width is what has been a driving force in the van life movement. I wish the Tesla van had lay down width but if it is based on the Cybertruck it's going to need some modifications to get that width.

420w/mi seems really bad tbh.

Uneven distribution of weights on axles.
There is no heavy motor in front anymore.
May cause a problem with steering and loss of traction for the steering axle.
  • BEV’s make it easier to engineer where the weight is distributed. Shifting the batteries around can put the weight exactly where you want it.
  • If it is based on the CT design. All axles may be steering axles.

I'm all for function over form, but not ignore form. That looks totally unappealing to me. I don't see why they wouldn't lengthen the wheelbase if the vehicle were that long, would improve the visuals a bunch, plus make for a better driving experience.
