Delivery Day highs and lows……..

5 years and 3 days from when I put my deposit down just like so many of you.
The 4.5 years on this forum has taught me so much that I’ve probably over prepared for today.

I arrived early to inspect the truck. You can see the disappointment in my face while my wife films my first reaction.

Swirl marks covering the entire truck….

One 1” scratch and several minor blemishes.

The swirls are hard to see if the light wasn’t shining on it just perfect but the advisor said it himself, once pointed out, you can not unsee them.
Back to the detail area to see if they can buff it out.

minor things that can be adjusted. can't help but comment that at the end of the day its a truck and meant to be tough. Some are setting unrealistic expectations.

Update: They had the truck in the back for nearly one hour and got the 1" scratch out, along with 50% of the swirl marks. I can still see a good bit, but I think it's only like once you see a stain on a shirt—you can never stop looking at it.

I accepted the truck, and oh boy, is it amazing to drive! 1 hour later, I forgot about my pickiness and fell back in love.

The misaligned cantrail is a bit concerning. Did you create a service ticket to correct? Did you pickup at the Irvine SC?

I read that the darker color banding on the edge of the doors from laser welding has been eliminated on newer builds. Can you post a side profile pic?
