I saw a video that said no, the divider made it so the 2nd set of storage did not fit. It was a while ago, so I don't remember who posted it.

Damnit! I wanted to put my “Not regularly used” stuff in the (3) toward the cab and have the back (3) for everyday use. That sucks. Maybe I can re-engineer the divider? Gonna give it shot when it gets here.

Why would you need the divider with 6 bins? The 6 bins would stay in place without the divider. Or am I missing something? I just got my divider and my bins come tomorrow. My thought is a row of bins in the back of the truck and the divider to hold them in place. Then the rear of the bed is free to everyday use.

Well since I use it for work………. Like my post, if you have 6 bins with the divider separating them in the middle. You could maybe take the 3 out towards the tailgate and have room to pick something up and the divider would already be there to hold the other 3? Or you could take them all out and the divider would still be installed. My theory was to install it once and not have to remove-reinstall, remove-reinstall, remove-reinstall, etc.

this is what I do. I don’t have a second set of bins but you could keep another set in the garage and remove the divider and put in those bins for long trips or camping, etc.

Glad someone is living the dream! Someday my divider will fit in the middle 1/3 of the bed...

Can you take 1 of your bins and put it on other side of divider and see if tailgate closes? Or for sure it won't work?

Like the OP, I would love to be able to keep the divider installed, and throw the 2nd set of bins in when needed without having to remove and install the divider. It's not a deal breaker, but I've struggled with getting the divider in place correctly, even with the new one Tesla sent.
