Do aftermarket electronics like rear view mirror cams drain battery while parked?

Just curious of experiences with installs like these if it depletes the battery while parked?

Or does Teslas have a cutoff after a certain amount of time after you lock the car?

I just installed the Hansshow digital rear view mirror but it seems to always stay on. There is a button on it to turn it off the screen but I'm not sure if it completely turns off the whole unit. There is an option for auto-off after 1 or 3 minutes but it turns off even when the car is on. Doesn't seem like an option to turn off after the car is locked. The Hansshow mirror is hardwired to the Cybertruck's wiring underneath the front camera housing but it might be the power to the front camera which stays on for Sentry.
