Dang. Big dog uses that space.
Drill holes. Mount gun rack in usual place. All my pickups have had rifles in rack. I reckon box in back will be solution.

Where most of previous pickups with rifle racks - crew cabs with 4-doors, 2 seating rows, and seating for 5-6 ( 3 in rear)?

When rifles in rack were adults people able to be comfortably seated in rear seats?

F350 I had was fine. I have Freightliner cab now. Good

If I understand what your looking for, these pictures should help.

We keep the bed cover closed all the time, so the center rear view mirror is removed and we just use the rear view image on the screen.
Blocking the rear window with a gun rack would make no difference for us.
