Have a question if this has happened to anyone else with a Cybertruck.
On delivery the windshield was pretty cloudy, when we drove away into the setting sun, I could barely see out of it.
I tried to clean it at home several times with water, spray away, alcohol, and it’s not really working, better but the cloudiness just smears. It’s off gassing, just can’t get it clean.

Took it to a professional tint company to have all the windows ceramic tinted, clear on the windshield and roof.
They said they tried for 4hrs and could not get the windshield totally clean.
They used many different products and it’s much better but still just a tad cloudy.

They said wait a month or so and keep trying to clean it and bring it back and they should be able to tint the windshield.

Anyone else have this issue?
Even tried the Windshield Wow

The VOC's off gassing create this window haze. All of the interior bits off gas for a while. It's basically the new car smell.

Never heard of such a thing. My CT doesn't have it. None of my other Teslas have it. None of my other non-Tesla vehicles have it. And I always buy all my vehicles brand new with that new car smell.

Here is a car detailers secret I learned about 10 years ago to get glass/mirrors spotless. I keep numerous spray bottles spread around the home and garage to clean glass and mirrors.

-Spray bottle
-70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol (50%)
-Distilled water (50%)
-Waffle weave microfiber towels

Cover dashboard with towels. Spray interior glass thoroughly with mixture. Use towel #1 to clean glass initially. Buff again with towel #2. Your done!

I also have something like this issue, I've bought multiple cleaners, glass products, a da polisher and tried to clean both the inside and outside of the glass. Where it's clear it's fantastic after removing offgassing, but there's large portions where there's still haze that I believe at this point is inside the glass. I gotta wait 40 days for service to take a look, but what do yall think?
