Does PPF brand matter that much?

I’m researching getting my Cybertruck wrapped and have settled on using PPF over vinyl however trying fo find out which brand to go with has me spending hours watching YouTube videos and reading hundreds of threads and still confused.

Should I just be looking for the color I really want which will dictate which company to use, and then find a good quality installer as it’s likely the quality of the install will dictate how good the wrap will turn out?

Anyone with wrap experience that can chime in on HOW they chose who to go with and how things ended up?

different brands, different quality, different warranties... I would look for one that has zero orange peel look, and a well-known brand name.

Same as paint for your house, tile, tires, etc. the quality of the product matters.

If you're taking it off in three months, then it probably matters a lot less, but if you plan to leave it one for a few years then I'd make sure the quality matches my price/value expectations. But maybe that's just me (and I'm not wrapping mine).

My decision was made by color, material, texture, brand, price, in that order. IMO it's important to find your why on wrapping your CT. Are you looking for a color change? Do you want to protection from small scratches? Do you want to easily clean it without fingerprints? Are you looking for the newest and greatest product from a particular company? Does your wrap shop only work with particular brands/materials? It's important to find out what's important to you then let it guide you down the particular wrap and/or brand.

I would say my goals are unique color (currently digging the UPPF chrome interstellar blue), longevity (5 years), prefer hydrophobic properties (such as STEK or 3M). In south florida it rains a lot, I don’t want water spots and I like just spraying the truck down with the pressure washer and foam canon, easy clean. Cost is my least concern of the bunch.

Any suggestions for brands that should be on my short list? Theres just so many out there, it’s hard to know without hands on experience.
