Does sentry mode for the cybertruck, or any Tesla for that matter, only come with FSD option?

Any vehicle, just be aware it tends to eat up your battery when it is on. It doesn't allow the truck to go to sleep and therefore keeps the computers running and pulling current. It is a noticeable drain and will probably drain a Cybertruck in 5 days or so.

So standard on vehicles?
Don’t have to add it?

I am highly suspicious of this statement. First is every Tesla disables sentry mode at 20% battery.

Assuming SOC 100% to 20% (when it’s auto disabled) which is 98.4kwh to work with.

you are claiming sentry mode pulls 1.2195kwh a day. To take it from 100% to 20%. I have never seen that happen on either of my teslas.

At best I’m losing 1% of a 75kwh battery a day.

That doesn't seem to be what other Sentry Mode drivers are seeing. Yes. While I was probably a little short in my timeline, just doing a little searching suggested about 1 mile per hour.

But the updated information suggests more like 300w draw (300w/mi x 1mi) or 7.2 kWh/day. So more like 7 days to 20% from an arrival at about 60%

It is a battery killer though. I regularly leave town and leave my Model Y for 3-4 days each week. Sentry drains about 6-7% per 24 hour period. For stops at the grocery store it is fine, but go on vacation for a week and you will come home to a battery at 20% and Sentry mode off.

One of the benefits of having a larger battery. Sentry mode shouldn't be as significant on the CT than more efficient models with half the battery capacity.

Sentry mode power usage is directly correlated with how much motion or sound occurs near your vehicle.

There's probably a way to leave the truck plugged in to manage the load, too.
