Yesterday was the first storm in Southern California, and in the middle of the rain, my driver's door refused to open. I have to from another door, go inside, and put the window down to open the door.
I called the emergency center, and after trying this, trying that, I opened a service appointment, but the next opening is 17 days away.
I decided to go to my nearby service center, and with my luck, they don't have any loaner car to leave my CT for diagnosis, so under the rain, I drove to another service center where they provide a loaner car.
To my surprise, they never hear anything about the door getting jammed. Does anyone have the same problem?

Does it open when you open the door via the app or only when pressing the button on the side panel?

Hopefully its an easy fix by replacing the door kicker in the jam since it sounds like its not the side panel button.

The CT is at the service center, and currently, they can't see the problem. The computer doesn't show any fault.

Today I'm going to pick up my CT They tell me there's nothing wrong with the door; apparently, water went inside, but now it's working fine.

Must be nice to have so many service centers. Mines 50 miles. With population of probability 100k cars. 6 loaners. I got a CT last week.

We are fortunate to have three service centers nearby, but I'm not sure if they are aware of the issues. I'm dealing with the young generation that knows everything, except customer service. They treat you like you are crazy with your request, and the explanation about the issues sometimes doesn't make sense. I'm a car guy; I own my own dealership, and when it comes to warranty and problems, I often request a manager because I know what is covered and what is not. Last month I brought my CT because the tire covers started to not be in alignment with the tires and started to damage the tires, they want to charge me new covers and labor, becuase was my fault, I have a few thousend miles and my CT is a show truck for my business, so NOT is not my fault, is a defect of the materials. They saw the problems and they agreed with me. They replace the covers for free.
