The truck is insulated from the ground by the rubber tires. I'd be surprised to find anything that moves through the wind and is insulated from the ground that doesn't show a charge difference. That's what static electricity is. Cat noses are especially susceptible to static discharge when coming in contact with young boys' fingertips....or so I've heard.

False. Because a Tesla will not draw any current from an ungrounded connection, if your only problem with your wiring is the ground connection is open.

Was looking for this comment. I'm not an EE and even know this one lol. Seems like a lot of people don't understand how many protection mechanisms Tesla has in place already.
