I don't work construction nor do I go off-roading.

I just really like the Cybertruck, the way it looks, the self-driving feature, and so on.

I do enjoy road trips in all kinds of weather throughout North America.

Current Tesla owners who do long road trips, especially in parts of Canada, do you think that I'll be okay with just the base model?

Or, do you think that I'll NEED the dual?

For the CAN$20,000 difference, do you think it's worth it?

Convince me? ... Why would anyone need tri-motor?

Thanks for your time!

I do not tow a lot of heavy loads however I am going with the Tri Motor for the range. I live in Saskatchewan. There is not much charging infrastructure here and I do a lot of long distance driving for work. For winter conditions I would say dual motor is a good thing to get.

I think that in 2 years the infrastructures will be improved, but 250mi (never real) are maybe not enough. Considering that you live in Canada, in my opinion the dual is the best choice. 4 wheels drive is the only choice.
