There are a few people who can win at the casinos... They are usually asked not to return. But they're a tiny minority.

My grandfather used to count cards and was frequently booted from casinos. Long before he passed away he gave up on it because they got too good at keeping track of card counters And finding single deck tables got too difficult.

Teams can get away with it for a while, but even there, when most casinos switched to auto shufflers and 4-6 decks it got a lot harder.

As a boomer generation, I am forever shell shocked at the dealership negotiating buying process. Worst experience then my dentist visit. I swear that I will never subject myself to that situation ever again.

Ahh, but those have been sold ...to the dealers.

Aren’t there still a bunch of Mach E preorders unfilled? This just sounds broken.
Believe it or not... They just sold one of them... to me.

I wasn't planning on getting a Mach-e, but I was between a rock and a hard place. My F-150 was at the dealership for over 4 months with potentially months more to go until they figure out what's wrong with it.

There wasn't a clear endgame in sight, so I tapped out. In a perfect world, my F-150 would keep running until the Cybertruck arrived. Plan B was to trade it for a Model Y so it would hold its value while waiting for the CT... but this was the best I could do under the circumstances.

When a car maker disappoints me with a crappy car and months-long waits for repairs, I don’t double down on them and buy another car by them!!

How do you like the Mach E? I have heard a fair number of good things about them.

I definitely didn’t want to give the dealer my business, but I literally ran out of options. My truck was there over 4 months, and they even told me there were other vehicles there for longer than that… one over 6 months and counting.

I simply wanted the ordeal to end and since it didn’t run, trading or selling it while it was broken would be a challenge. Dealers hate to give you market value for a fully functional car, so just imagine what they’d offer if I had to be towed there.

So, I took one off the lot. They pulled back on the markups and even gave me a discount, plus Ford Corporate will be reimbursing me for the 4 months payments.

As for the car itself, it’s pretty decent, but the range is only about 200 miles, so I need to keep an eye on my charging levels.

There aren’t a lot of them on the road, so I get a lot of head turns and thumbs up from people I pass.

If an electric mini wagon with a pony logo gets that kind of attention, dear Lord will heads turn when they see a Cybertruck roll by. :)
