There are some legacy car manufacturers that from the factory offer bullet-resistant cars.

Since Elon "Tommy Gun" Musk put target on us (Cybertruck customers), instead of only a half-assed bulletproof Cybertruck where the metal panels are bulletproof but the door windows and windshield, which in real life are the most common targets, glass is NOT bullet proof, Cybertruck customers should have Tesla factory option for glass resistant to 9mm handgun level, at affordable price ($5K-10K) to complete the protection provided by the 3mm cold-rolled stainless steel panels.

It’s important to keep in mind that, while bulletproof glass can provide a high level of protection against bullets, it is not completely impenetrable and there are limitations to its effectiveness. The exact level of protection that a particular piece of bulletproof glass can provide will depend on the specific design and construction of the glass, as well as the type and caliber of the bullet being fired at it.

They have labor to remove original glass, labor to install armor glass, and high cost of 9mm handgun bulletproof glass made at small volume (cost 5-10 times what it cost Tesla).

Tesla can make itself or have supplier make 9mm handgun bulletproof glass in high volume and at relatively low cost (for bulletproof glass), and Tesla would not require double/triple labor.

Since Cybertruck already has as standard more than half the armoring needed for a real 9mm handgun bulletproof passenger cabin (3mm cold-rolled stainless steel) a Tesla option for remaining material needed, 9mm handgun bulletproof glass, would result in the world's only mass-produced and affordable, 9mm handgun bulletproof vehicle.

Hey man- if you want it, be prepared to pay for it. I’m not looking for tesla to raise the price on everyone’s CT because of a small subgroup’s paranoia. And yes, they would have to develop and source it, it would cost everyone whether they select it or not.
