2019Nov Tesla's Cybertruck unveil video showing bullets and Cybertruck
youtube video views: estimate 40-50 million

2020May28 Elon & Jay Leno Cybertruck video where Elon says don't you want a bulletproof truck.
youtube video views: 38 million

2023Oct Elon "emptied the entire drum magazine of a Tommy gun"
x/tweet views: 1.7M
youtube video views: millions

2023Nov? Soon probably have another video by Elon or Tesla showing bullets and Cybertruck?

Really, do you honesty expect any Cybertruck is going to be shot at by anyone because of that?
Yes, absolutely, it will happen. Someone's Cybertruck will be shot by someone else because of Elon's & Tesla rhetoric.

20 years ago it might not have happened but after social media videos, Facebook/Meta, TikTok, youtube, etc it will happen.

Does Media Coverage Inspire Copy Cat Mass Shootings?
Violent events are often covered by news outlets in great detail and spread immediately through mass media and social media. Experts believe that this media coverage can inspire others to copy these actions or commit similar crimes. This is often called the media contagion effect, and it happens with suicide, terrorist attacks, and mass shootings. Other experts report that a better explanation is the tendency for people to imitate behaviors that get a lot of attention.

....
Lightning strike is higher odds, imo.
Hell, your chances of just getting randomly shot for no reason are far far higher, do you wear body armor?

In U.S., occurrences of carjackings that involve guns are far more common than lightning Injuries or death.
Carjackings that involve guns while vehicle at stop light/sign: estimate 8,550 per year
Lightning Injuries: estimate 400 lighting injuries and 40 deaths per year
Stray bullet shootings: estimate 500 per year

Geography also plays a role in some areas with mountainous terrain will often experience more lightning strikes than surrounding lower elevation areas. Though likely underestimated, in the United States there are approximately 400 lighting injuries and 40 deaths annually.

According to the U.S. National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice's Bureau of Justice Statistics, from 1993 to 2002, some 38,000 carjackings occurred annually.
.....
A weapon was used in 74% of carjacking victimization: firearms in 45% (17,100 per year), knives in 11%, and other weapons in 18%.

** 50% carjacking occur while vehicle at traffic light or stop sign.

I don't doubt your references. My question was honest though. When you map those events geographically, you will see a pattern. Does your lifestyle place you in those areas regularly?

I live in Southern Maryland, in my county of 114,000 people, we might have three carjackings a year. Almost exclusively in the few "bad" neighborhoods and also generally between 10pm and 3am.

But I travel 7-8 times a year to Langorne, PA on overnight trips for work. So I'll use this article. Langhorne is next to Middelton Township. I reduce my risk of carjacking by not taking 95 through the city, where any accident could force me off onto surface streets.

https://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/inv...are-you-most-likely-to-get-carjacked/3267484/

So, my question was honest, unless you live or work in a city center like this map illustrates, your risk is far lower than your references would indicate. I'm not sure what the overlap is between folks who live that lifestyle and CT ownership will be. So, if your lifestyle keeps you at a higher risk, I understand.
