Most Superchargers fsd goes right up to. Well lit, secure feeling, with amenities close by (as long as it's during business hours).
And then there are those few it just can't find. These, In my experience, have no amenities and are always under ground, usually in a parking garage.
I have had my Beast go round and round trying to find some. At one, it drove me to a construction site and stopped when the road ended directly ABOVE the supercharger which was two stories below.
These are underground, unmarked, and without any amenities. AND, there might be a gate that is down that won't rise until you take a ticket.
College of Notre Dame comes to mind as does a parking garage in Maryland.
How about more info when hidden like these AND at least Restrooms close by on any new Chargers?

They install them where space and utility access are favorable.
Description gives location and map shows type of parking. Plus info on the parking garage.

So... no pretrip planning?
Either before setting out, or at the previous charge stop? Or even after a couple go arounds?
exactly. people need to learn how to use Google maps for pre-trip scouting lol.

Don't even need 3rd party map (though I do use Google for non-where-I-am-at Charger to Charger distance checks), in vehicle display does it all (as shown). Or the app (caveat: the pin can get offset north).

So you are saying to trust Google on road trips. I don't trust Google. Proven liar. I do trust Tesla. I am simply requesting on screen help to locate a given Supercharger when not familiar with the area while on fsd. Too much to ask?

It does though?
Description says ground floor and map zooms to location.

Wait until you hear who Tesla uses for their maps…

So I don’t think I’ve used a supercharge inside a parking garage before. Are you expected to take a ticket and pay for parking at these?

No, never I hope. When exiting you present your ticket to exit. Only once around 3am was there no attendant for help to assist in entering or leaving the garage. A little scary when very low battery, just wait for them to assist you.

Some, yes. I’ve driven cross country many times in our teslas and have come across a few where you’re expected to pay for parking in order to charge. Usually it’s only the minimum fee of a dollar or two. Sometimes time is too short to be charged at all and you just get out for free after the 20-30 minute charge up - but I have definitely paid a few times over the years at SCs in garages
