Would like to get a consensus of opinions from owners who have had their CT for over a month now?

I love the car but have friends looks to sell saying it’s too big for an everyday day.

Curious to hear others opinions.

My only response/review = Badass. Also, find some new friends.

No bigger than any other truck I own. I also live in a high rise apartment and it fits in our parking garage just fine. Never have any issues in parking lots either. Maneuverability is also way better than any other vehicle I've owned. So do these friends actually own one? Have they driven one? Even seen one in person? Or just spend too much time on the internet and like to spout FUD? I thought everyone's complaint before it came out was that it was too small, now it's too big ?

I love it. 5k miles in. Only complaint is I don't like the wireless phone chargers and haven't found a great way to set my phone on it to bypass the wireless charger and keep the phone from moving around. 3rd party mounts haven't worked well.

The steering is single best part of the truck and makes it easy to drive and park despite its size.

You only live once, if you can afford the truck get it. It's innovative and is a portable reminder to the rest of the world you don't care for their opinion and you are not interested in the conventional. 10+ years from now having such an iconoclastic truck will be an awesome memory. You won't readily remember any other vehicle you buy instead. It also is not a sacrifice in features or ride quality. It is a smooth, functional, luxurious, damn nice truck.

If you just want to make it so it doesn't charge should be a matter of finding the right material / thickness of material (ideally black so it's not noticeable) to put down in the holder and put your phone on top of. Someone should make an insert. Or figure a way to unplug / disable the inductive charging.

Personally I have an android galaxy in a TPU case and don't have much issue and it charges great. Occasionally gets a little warm but I just move it to the cup holder for a bit. Don't need to do that often though.

Just some thoughts...

Best vehicle I’ve ever driven and I look forward to driving it every day.

I own the CT and also a Ford F150 Lightning. I could not drive the F150 every day but no problems with the CT as it drives more like a car and is more comfortable.

Took delivery 05/30, FS AWD.

I love every moment I drive this amazing creation. Perfect? Nope. But no car I’ve ever owned has been perfect.

I dropped my CT off at the SC today for the wiper motor/appliqué deal. Got a nice 2022 Model Y for a loaner (I also own two 2020 MYLR’s).

I haven’t driven any other vehicle but the CT since I took delivery on 05/30.

Driving the MY feels totally pedestrian now, haha!! Great car, but doesn’t hold a candle to the CT.

The only thing the loaner MY had that made me miss my MY was FSD, haha!!

Man I can’t wait until FSD come to the CT!!

A little over 3 months fs awd. Absolutely no regrets. Love the design. Drives even better. It is my daily driver. model 3 stays in garage. Like everyone says, the steering and handling is exceptional for a truck. No issues getting around parking lots/garages.

It is a large truck so it does take some miles to get used to the size, but once adjusted, driving my model 3 feels cramp and tiny! Driving the CT definitely feels more substantial (safer) compared to my 2018 m3.

My only negative is that it is half as efficient as my m3. So costs me twice as much ( money and time) to charge. Acceptable given the size and utility.

Could be better if the bed vault is vented to the inside cabin so AC can cool it with tonneau closed. Would be nice for long grocery runs on extremely hot days.

A few other small things that I can live with (terrible center console, for example), but god I love my CT.
