When I put a deposit for the CT in 2019, my husband declared “The ugliest truck ever”.
I have the CT for two months now and we got rid of his GMC. Wherever we go people wanted to talk to him, even with me driving. Husband always say it is her truck afterwards. I have one guy even walked away from me to go to him to ash questions. I really don’t mind, I just thought it is funny and reminded me of years ago, when husband had to tell sale persons “you need to talk to her”.
My wife grew up driving boats in the summer and she had the same experience. Anytime she had guys in the boat everyone would assume the boat was theirs, even though she way driving…

All I can say is way to go and enjoy the truck.

Hey, i’m 80 years old and just bought a Cybertruck. Female. The most interesting thing to me is that everywhere I go elderly ladies come over and want to know all about it with a “ you go girl “ attitude. Sometimes I have three or four really old ladies chatting me up by the drivers window pleased as punch to see somebody their age still “truckin’’ around”
Yes. I get lots of ladies walking up to ask questions when they see me with a Cybertruck.

I have been so surprised by the huge interest from women in coming up to talk about the truck, old and Young. I don’t know if that’s because they see a woman driver or just the truck itself. Probably both

I don't think its rude, but it is certainly an incorrect assumption. Stereotypes are a way for our brains to save on processing time. We go to great lengths to prevent having to actually think because its expensive on energy consumption.

You see a glass tipping over, you assume it will fall. You see a wolf baring its teeth at you, you assume its a threat. You see a truck, you assume the owner is a man. All of these assumptions will be correct the majority of the time, but sometimes wrong.
I want to LIKE your post but am scared of getting stereotyped
