I have to turn down my beast VIN and the truck is already at the Glendale dealership. Noticed you are in Phx, so maybe this will be passed on to you! I did a writeup about the situation this morning.
fingers crossed!

Picking up my beast Thursday!
config to delivery looks like 3ish months for your beast? not too shabby. I’m also glad they are pushing out the ones configured in March…

Which is weird, as there are some of us who configured in December who still don't have VINs.

ya, just like the RN numbers, seems to be sudo (yes I know pseudo) rando. it wouldn't surprise me Tesla has some algorithm to auto-assign these dates based on values on locale, when you reserved/ordered, how often you check your account, how often you scratch your butt, etc.

Yeah, I'm guessing locale is a big one. I don't think it's the butt-scratching, because I'd definitely have a couple beasts by now.

Did you get a look at it? Did you reject it because of poor build quality?

Got my invitation on the 6/20

Configured on 6/23

Waiting for the VIN... do you have to fill out all the lease/trade-in stuff before you get the VIN or should I wait till after the VIN is assigned? I'd rather wait since I'm lending my trade in vehicle to a family member right now and can't take pics...

I stopped by today to sneak a peak, but the only beast that was outside had a different VIN number. The one I saw had a slightly earlier VIN than what was given to me. Because they auto-scheduled my delivery appointment for the 27th, I am guessing it was inside getting prepped and cleaned. I did take some pics of the one today but stopped once I realized the VIN was wrong.

I will likely try to stop by tomorrow or Thursday to see if it is out on the lot. At this point I am just making myself depressed and probably shouldn't get a look at it after all?

The VIN for todays beast is 175XX

My VIN is 176XX

holy crud that's fast. is your VIN in the 17xxx range??
I can’t see the VIN yet which is weird. Just scheduled in the app an hour ago for delivery.
I’ll keep everyone posted, but it seems odd to me to how fast.

Yup. Not sure it was yours but I just got a call that my Beast was ready. Never got assigned a VIN so I assume it is one someone else backed out of.
