I have stains from a few bird poops that won't go away, and even some factory stains that are like circles of some sorts.... Things kind of a pita to keep clean. And if you use the wrong thing, looks horrible xD

It would be easier to clean if it were smaller. And shorter. I use a stepstool lol
I’m 6’4” and I used to have to use a step stool. I now have a extending handle brush for washing and an Adam’s mini Air Cannon to dry it. I can blow all the water from front windshield, top and tonneau cover to the opposite side and dry with a towel.

Confirmed. I tried the most basic cleaning option at two different automated car wash places. Just soap and water. Spotless result. No fingerprints, no bird drop stains, nothing visible I could find on the HFS.

Spray away or Griots glass cleaner. The trick is you need to change your micro-fiber often. Do a pass, change it. Typically Ill clean it with 3 microfibers before its actually clean.

Using this to be able to reach into the front edge of the windshield.
Windshield WOW Magnetic
Newsprint or paper towels works best for me.

Two+ months parked outside, under some trees (yes, I need to trim back yet again) and all I've done is hose it off, dry it with a leaf blower and every few weeks hit it with Sprayway ammonia-free glass cleaner and wipe down with a clean microfiber cloth.

No rust spots, no tarnish marks, no discoloration of panels. Also no ceramic coatings, soap, waxes, Bar Keepers Friend, Citisurf or anything else fancy. Heck, I haven't even used my pressure washer on it as a regular hose washes everything off - including fingerprints (of which there are few).

Maybe it's the Sprayway, I don't know, but this is the easiest vehicle to clean that I've owned in 30+ years of driving.

So, when you took delivery it was clean with no rail dust rust? Possibly Tesla is doing a better delivery now than earlier.

The carwash guy at my office agrees also!. he said he just clean my CT and a standard SUV and the CT took only about 15 minutes.

That said, I have mine wrapped and it does 'display' the wrap in a superior aesthetic than a regular shaped vehicle.

The sprayaway is the best stuff to use.

Couldn't agree more that this is an easy truck to clean.

I use Sprayway with Lint Free Paper Towels for windshield (put the towels over the microfiber extendo extendo cleaner that we all have now) Griots used to sell them, but no longer.

For the exterior, this Optimum No Rinse Wash and Shine - ONR Car Wash, New Formula Version 5, Safe on Paint, Coatings, Wraps, and Interior, Rinseless Wash is just awesome - cleans the stainless perfectly, no real need to rinse, just wash and dry with a microfiber towel.

What water ratio do you use for ONR? I’m having mixed results and wondering if I need heavier or lower concentration. I’m using distilled water BTW

I was using a 1/4 cup per gallon or so. It also works to just pour some on a wet microfiber wash mitt.

Now mind you, I've been washing and detailing high end cars for what seems like my entire adult life - I've never, ever, dreamt of doing something like this to a painted vehicle. But on Cybertruck, it just works so well, no real risk of micro scratches or swirls.

YMMV

Picked my truck up last week and it had rust marks. Have an appointment scheduled to have them removed. It may depend on where it’s delivered and if it traveled by rail. Im up in Boston.

Also was dirty inside and out. The team there cleaned the white leather. Overall very happy with the truck and pickup outside of how dirty it was.

Good to know it’s easy to clean.

Also for the interior the team at my delivery center used Renu on the white leather. Cleaned it up quick.
