First Cybertrucks in Tesla stores now! @ San Diego & San Jose first

It is unclear whether it will work that way. It seems like Tesla offers the option of changing trims in the configurator but we will see.

Me thinks in the inital stage of manufacturing ramp up, Tesla will fill the order of what's coming out of the line.

I get it. Words are not necessary, only VIN configurations. I can go by that. So we should only speak in what the VIN provides us. Even so, the VIN only provides the range of possible configurations, and we only know what the actual features are when we have a specific vehicle's VIN. Right?

By your reasoning, above, when the single-motor reservation number comes up that person will be offered a choice. This is how I have understood it to date, but I do not know if that my understanding is based on valid reasoning.

I think it would only be fair that when someone's reservation number comes up, they would be given the option to choose which configuration they want (likely between the two motor and performance). This would be independent of which model they previously picked (IE one, two or three motor).

It is my opinion that Elon is a great believer in fairness (and free speech).

The German Technical Museum in Munich (amazing place!) used to have a stainless steel Porsche Turbo Carrera. You can bet it took a lot of labor, towels, and glass cleaner to keep it spotless!

That is how it worked with the Model 3. I expect that is how it will work for the CyberTruck.

They will go to populous areas, obviously. Goal is to have all 20 on display by Black Friday.

Marketing at it's finest. Put Halo vehicles in showrooms to get customers in the door. Then sell those customers a vehicle they won't have to wait several years for. Hmmm, I think I might need to buy more TSLA.
