So first time pulling a trailer and lessons learned. Overall extremely satisfied with the whole process.

- Any connection to trailer power connection automatically puts truck in trailer mode (includes trying to add light bar to the 4way plug)
- FSD does not work with trailer connected.
- Imperative to set up a profile otherwise truck defaults to a giant trailer with brake settings.
- Expected and real battery usage are wildly different, I expect the trailer profile has something to do with this. I went from expected 1% battery at arrival to over 20% realized, I
gained % between every SC stop. I did keep speed down to 70mph which actually gave me very good range. Loss was was about 20% more than not towing the same route.
- Went back to adaptive cruise which the ability to use the right scroll wheel to adjust my speed was actually better than the erratic FSD speed control (my biggest pet peeve with FSD!)
- pull-in SC are a must, I was lucky enough to get an end unit at 1 stop which allowed me to charge w/o disconnecting the trailer.

In that last picture, is the trailer blocking a driveway of sorts?

Did you try taking it out of trailer mode to use FSD? That part works. It's the new inability to set max speed with FSD that's really sad.

If those chains are dragging, put a twist into them and they'll be just a bit shorter and won't drag. You don't want them tight, of course.

Is this a troll?
He's charging in Tonopah, Nevada. Close enough to Wyoming... Could be that he's never needed to tow something before. Maybe?
