First time using FSD CT made a left turn onto the opposing lane.!
Not comfortable using it
I’m 78 YO and in all of the years driving I may have used cruise control twice. I guess I’ll remain a control freak although I love the auto park feature for perpendicular parking

does the CT parallel park?

Treat FSD as if it was a 16 year old who is making a valid attempt to drive properly. It's a complex piece of software, and it will take you some time to learn the nuances in it; what it can and cannot do well (and when to not allow it to try something).

I highly advise learning the system intimately in the countryside or in less dense areas. The system is still safe, right, but you will be much more prepared mentally to spot edge cases before they become a problem. There's a big learning curve, and a lot is at stake.

Yes it has auto park.

And yes the FSD for CT at this time is a bit unbaked. To me it felt they released it to meet some q3 revenue recognition goals. It’s not prime time. All its variations with e2e highway have been stalled in fact. So stay vigilant for now. There has been a big lull in updates so hopefully we get some meaningful progress shortly.

I’m 50 in a major city and don’t trust it unless I’m on the open freeway or in major traffic so I use it sometimes but very monitored . used it today because I had a coffee in one hand and my dog in the other and it decided to break to a stop when the stop sign was 40’ in front of me. Went off of it then back on and was impressed in it changing lanes more then it use to to get around slow drivers so it’s a work in progress but yeah if you have to pay that much attention then what’s the difference from just driving your self there ? I def am worried EVERY-TIME approaching a light. It waits to stop till the last second

Please do not do this. Extreme disregard for human life.
Please Don’t be so dramatic people drink coffee when they drive. People let there little Frenchie hang out the window. Strange enough i drivin doing that with out FS for
15 years. I wasn’t watching a movie bro. I never hit the Red cars ?

This is my first Tesla. FSD is wonderful to me, however you need to use it and understand its short comings. I had my CT for 5 months before FSD was released. I learned how the CT drove and parks manually.

I used FSD over 80% of the time in my 1,200 miles trip from Seattle to Southern California. I appreciate FSD and would never want to go back to driving a vehicle without it.

It is far behind the model y and 3 but certain it will catch up faster than it took y x to get there.

Yep my first Tesla and my fit bit records my pulse increasing thirty percent when using FSD!
I’ve used it three time and last time it tried to run over an angry alligator!
I’m trying real hard to use it and will try again soon. It is a mental challenge for sure.
