I am assuming that Tesla has built all the Foundation Series vehicles already. Offering the Foundation Series on their site until they are all sold. Does anyone know how many FS total there is so far or were built?

Take a look at the camera recall that lists current numbers.

With the recall date and a few more weeks, maybe around 30,000.

My FS Cyberbeast VIN is over 31,000 and took deliver on 09/06. So at least over 32,000.

All Cybertrucks use the same series of mostly sequential serial numbers in the VIN.

How do you explain the 7-8k gaps from recalls and VIN numbers? Tesla revealed they had produced, not delivered, 11,688 CTs by 6/6, but we were in the 18k Vin range with AWD in May.

Nothing requires they use all the numbers and they've added unused regions on other models to make production tracking more difficult.

Could jump to next 1k or 100 on big design changes for easier traceability.

After Canada and Mexico, I'll wager the number will be around 40-45k.

As of January 2025, Tesla is still marketing the FS in Canada and Mexico. For all we know, Tesla could still be cranking them out today. And if the Cybertruck is ever sold in other countries (like maybe Australia or China) in the future, you can bet that Tesla will start producing the FS again for those markets..

The FS disappeared from the US Tesla order page in early October 2024. But even in the US, at least one forum member has reported receiving an FS built in late November 2024:
