Front trim fell off

I was on a highway and noticed a harsh sound like I ran over something. When I arrived at my destination I noticed the front trim dropped. Out of nowhere. The part didn’t have hole but a latch and I was wondering if through the vibration the lug nuts were loosened and they unhitched: this part should have a hole not a latch. Has this happened to others?

Looks like you hit something. The connecters are damaged. I see the road rash.

The piece you mention and show is removable. Yet if you rip it off it will wreck it.

That’s the right/front wheel fairing.

You hit something and it broke off. Good news is that part is ~$20.

Happened to me, except it was the rear wheel fairing that got damaged. Tesla fixed mine at no charge. I was already in for wiper motor/sail appliqué replacement so that may have helped, haha!!

My rear wheel fairing / mud guard did that the other day. I thought they would be more rugged than that. I do not know exactly what I hit. I'll show it to Tesla and see what they say.

If you have auto lower on entry/exit you can hit it on parking curbs when it lowers on them on exit....hence, going to remove my front ones - guessing/hoping 1% range hit....
