FRONT WINDSHIELD/DASH VENT REFLECTION

Has anyone tried to paint the vent in the front dash that reflects against the windshield? I am wondering if it can be painted a deeper black to combat the reflection of the vent in the lower portion of the windshield.

No, but the dashboard removal process has scared the you know what out of me looking at the service guide. There is no way "I'm" going to undertake that removal...
