I have it. No change to one major issue, one big annoyance:
1. I have a left turn near my house with two lanes. If it decides to be in the right of the two left turn lanes, it STILL ends the turn in the left lane. Super peligroso.
2. Turn signal starts WAY too early. Makes people think I'm turning at an earlier opportunity - like an entire block early. This is potentially an issue. If someone is turning right onto the road I am on, they may assume I am turning right and go. This would put us in a dangerous position.

Yeah and of all the vehicles that I actually need dumb summon features on it’s really irritating that it’s taking this long. The truck is the longest vehicle I own and it’s always sticking out a parking spots I just need to be able to manually move it forward or back a couple of inches. I don’t know how many times I get out thinking I’ve nailed it only to discover that I gotta get back in and try to fix it - which of course is very difficult to do with the door open because it doesn’t like that (and will slam itself back into park like it saved your life as soon as you stop rolling)!
Don’t u use either front camera view to pill in a space or rear camera for backing out. Just follow the yellow lines. It

Yes. But, as I said, you have to turn the front camera on. It isn’t always on. Also, I’m on the phone almost all the time when driving during the workday. 70% of the time when I’m pulling into the garage at the office I’m on the phone with a client or one of my partners or someone.

So, having the mind-share to push the little goofy button on the steering wheel is not ideal. There’s also a reasonable chance I’m already talking with my hands. I don’t slowly pull into parking spots, I whip into them.

My point is simple; before we ever had anything like functioning FSD we had dumb summon. Then we got cars with no ultra sonic sensors. While this was supposed to be a great boon for FSD, it has set those of us who have vehicles without the sensors back. Because while Elon is calibrating vision only cameras, I’ve lost basic functionality.

I had it in my ‘20 Y and ‘21 MP3 and then lost it in my ‘23 S Plaid forward. It felt like an eternity waiting to get it back in the Plaid, and then we didn’t get it in the CT.

So, yes I know how to park. I know how to use the tools that are available to us (including frigging side mirrors and the front and rear cameras). The rear camera is always on. However, we are prohibited from backing into our spaces in the parking garage that I use every day at my office.

So, I need to know the distance in the front. They aren’t great visual cues from the ffunk in my opinion. I can, actually, tell where I need to be just by looking at the shape of lights as they reflect off the wall in front of me generally speaking, but as described above I don’t roll into the parking lot hyper-focused on the act of parking, so a bunch of times I will get out and be further back than I want.

Most people would probably be OK with that. I am not most people. It’s not like I’m egregiously sticking a foot out of the parking spot and people can’t get around me, or something. We’re usually talking 3 inches plus or minus where I want to be. I am extremely particular— I want it EXACTLY where I want it ... not “close.”

So, I say onto you: irrespective of anything that I can do alternatively to fix this little friction point … I just want dumb summon back ASAP.

I don’t even care about smart summon for the CT just let me move it back-and-forth manually from the phone.

Half of this stuff means nothing to the average person…. So uhmm, why mention it?

4.2 x data scaling? Photon on control latency?

Which one of these will keep FullSelf Driving from running my rear tire into the curb during left turns?!!! Also keep off the left line?? Fix those immediately please!!!
I believe the photon on control latency may fix your tire??? Not an expert and have not had my Photons checked.

Got it yesterday evening, and installed it. Used FSD today for commute. Didn’t notice any improvements, but the number of annoying things increased.

New:
It came to a full stop in the slow moving queue for the metering light and just stood there after cars in front moved, six, seven car length from the light. Since nobody was behind me I just waited. When there was no car in front anymore it moved forward, sped up, and then had to break for the metering light.

Not new, but was gone, and now back:
On a three lane freeway (fast, middle, slow lane) from on-ramp went nicely to the middle lane. But then, while there were other cars around but not full, it moved to the fast lane, and back to the middle lane. No cars passed. Then did the same with the slow lane: middle to slow back to middle.

Not solved:
-Lane centering on freeway, still riding far left. Not over but on the left line. No issue with right side.
-Too far right on city streets, including when stopping at a red light going straight blocking the space for right turning vehicles.
In both cases the display shows exactly where the car is, so (I think) not a camera issue?
-Also on city streets, not sure if it recognizes those far out sticking side mirrors on some trucks. My mirrors go awfully close to those mirrors, uncomfortable close.
-Very conservative at stop signs, taking a little too long, less patient drivers take advantage of that. But it did go and then stopped immediately when a bicyclist didn’t stop at all this evening and just went in front of us.
-The aforementioned (too) early blinking. Not at all turns, but at some, always the same ones. And always right turns. Including one where it blinks one traffic light too early, the right turn is one traffic light further, albeit very close.

Have not noticed changes in accelerating, will pay attention to that tomorrow.

I don't have the update yet but it has been driving very close to parks cars, I try to tug on the wheel to nudge it to the left side of the lane.
Also once in a while, the truck will stop at a stop sign, then start to move forward again then MASH the brakes! People behind me do not like that and on Long Island NY, that might be the reason someone goes off the rails. I just hope my truck is faster then whatever they are driving...
It has only done this half a dozen times but more recently a few times in a just a few days. The first few times were over the course of a few months.

What about the less frequent attention monitoring? Or did that not apply to the CT?

That's not available for any car, yet. It's not even on the coming soon. It's something Elon has been saying for a while, but we don't have a timeline.

I know Elon said it on X, but it's not in anyway cars release notes and the community, including influencers, have said they don't notice a difference.

This update has made FSD city driving in Las Vegas unusable. Was not too bad before this update. Now hits curb on left turn, cuts off car behind after turning, crosses over left lane line or lane bumps more than before. GETTING WORSE

Not according to Teslarati:

“Several owners are reporting they’ve noticed a change, with it being less restrictive than previously.”

Users being referenced include WholeMarsCatalog who is quoted in the article.

Whole Mars is full of crap. He's Tesla's marketing arm. He's said that FSD was 100% complete for the last 2 years and used a cheating device, editing, and route selections to show "how good" it was.

I'm just going off the community on TMC and people like Chuck Cook.

Just got the 2025.14.6 version and it came with FSD update 13.2.9. Believe it or not, it actually does much better on small two-lane roads. On my testing roads it usually crosses the center line at least 6 times, and it didn't do it once. It is still "too close" to the center line for my liking, but it may be "usable" now on small two-lane roads. Will have to do some more testing and see how I like it. It was basically unusable for our rural area before, so couldn't even test it much before now.

Would be interested in others' experience with the latest FSD on smaller roads.
The inability to hug lanes when appropriate like passing semis or incoming car is annoying. I’ll test highway speed to see if it hits the grooves with hard curves.

Noticed one very minor issue for me on this release that is likely no issue at all for just about everybody reading this. In my particular parking situation where I back into my driveway, I have a piece of 2 inch wide reflective tape in the center of my CT rear bumper and a similar piece on the bottom of my garage door. I use these pieces of tape when viewed through the rear camera align to line me up perfectly with my charger cord. With this release, the top of the center of my rear bumper is no longer visible in the rear camera view ... i.e. I can no longer see the reflective tape on the rear bumper when backing. Not a big deal ... I can make do using the on screen white path markers ... but I just found it a lot easier to use those 2 alignment tapes.
Did you try to adjust the zoom? There is three settings of zoom it may have defaulted to one you weren’t using before.

Drove 250 miles tonight from Cincinnati south to a lake in Tennessee. The FSD update pops up about 2 hours before we left and the timing worked well so I installed it.

Overall I was reasonably pleased with 13.2.8 despite occasional lapses. I had driven this same route in February so I was anxious to compare the new FSD.

Once off the highway it is now dark and it gets rural fast and cell coverage is gone in about 1.5 miles. The next 20 miles is switchbacks and breathtaking gorgeous views with sheer rock faces as you pace a large stream. In February I allowed FSD a free rein and it was adequate but on several tight turns / switchbacks it crossed fully into the oncoming traffic lane. Perhaps not dissimilar to what any drive may do with no oncoming traffic but honesty it wasn’t ideal and I was disappointed. Tonight on 13.2.9 I again allowed it to completely drive. Vastly better and not once did I depart from my lane and cross the double yellow lines. I noticed that speed around the turns was well under the posted speed limit which was fine actually.

On a later stage of the drive the edge lines do not exist nor is there any center line. The canopy of the forest covers you entirely and again there is no connectivity. For added fun there is no runoff area at all and an inch off of the pavement presents a drop off nearly straight down 20-30 feet as the proximity of the lake is increasing and elevations correspondingly reflect that fact. Two crossings over the centerline on tight turns but not bad at all.

Lastly I was fortunate to be driving in FSD and therefore more slowly when a very large deer steps into the path of the car. I would have hit her too if I was driving. It was a solid hit and the deer didn’t go under our tires but did go under the truck. Once we arrived at our destination I assessed the truck fearing frunk damage. Fortunately there was no damage whatsoever. I abhor hitting animals and have never hit a deer. This was a large doe and the impact was solid. Fortunately the Cybertruck protected us. Sadly I’m sure the deer didn’t fare as well.
