FSD brakes for wildlife

Like a UFO encounter in the recently released videos from the government, this creature came out of nowhere ar high speeds. FSD saw it and braked before I knew what was happening. Check the 26-28 second mark of this video clip I downloaded from the truck.

Yes, done several times as well for me - birds in the dark even. squirrels and rabbits as well.

My X brake completely for a cat in town at 40 MPH, then didn's slow down or give any warning for a cow in the dark on the left other lane on the highway at 65 just 30 minutes earlier. Or the antelope that jumped accross the highway. Loosing a little faith in FSD here....

If it sees an animal that doesn't seem like it's on a collision course, it might just behave as if it wasn't there. Also, if there is another car following it's limited in it's ability to brake (because the car behind might be a bigger threat than the animal in front).

My FSD braked and swerved for a darker patch of asphalt… Every software update seems to change what is a road hazard. I still use it all the time though. The quirks give it character.
