Diameter of rear brake disc is underwhelming. I was expecting dinner plates.....they give you flying bread roll 'saucers'

EVs have, as is pointed out above, regen that makes large brakes less required. You only heat these up in emergency maneuvers.

That's the point of having quad motors - direct control of torque instead of needing to use the brakes and slack in a differential.

So disappointing. I was expecting Tesla to one-up other cars on the market and have six brakes at least.

BUT ... BUT.... Elon did one-up other cars including the yet to release Cybertruck 11 years ago. My 2013 P85+ already have 6 brake pads.

The DeLorean has a 2nd set of tiny little pads for the parking brake. It doesn't work very well lol
