Does anyone else have this issue? When I have a destination entered and I start driving and activate FSD AFTER I've already started the drive, FSD does a massive deceleration before slowly speeding back up. I have held the speed with the pedal for several seconds. I've tried immediately releasing, and holding speed for close to 10-15 seconds. As soon as I lift off the accelerator the CT will loose 10-15 MPH then slowly speed back up.

Yes this happens to me all the time and I hate it! I cant figure out why it does that... Im not sure if I have the settings set right in the FSD Menu.

Also happens here. I have tried all different sorts of methods. Doesn't happen at highway speeds though? (thankfully) Was hoping this last update 13.2.8 would address it. Haven't tried it out yet, will see this after noon when I make a run into town. I will post my findings....

I just picked up my CT a couple weeks ago, and I truly don't understand the setting for FSD around max speeds, etc. I have a model Y, and have only used FSD during trial periods and get annoyed to the point I shut it off due to how it does speed. So anyone who has figured out what the settings should be would be helpful. The percentage setting is totally confusing to me.

Same here, is I engage FSD before I hit the speed limit, the truck does not slow down...as much.

I just wish I could set the relative speed like I could be for. 9 you're fine, 10 you're mine. No saying rhymes with 40% you're fine.

i dont understand that either. speed limits are 55 on Long Island, so 40% would be 77? That might be an arrestable offense.

Glad to know it's not just me. I keep the speed offset to 10%. Then I can roll up if traffic is doing an autobahn thing on that day.

I tried 10% and 5% and it doesn't matter. At 5 %, the top speed will be 75. It ignores every setting.

Same thing here. It started to do this for me after one of the recent updates.

In most instances I can manually adjust the top speed with the right scroll wheel even when it’s in automatic mode but there are certain instances when it doesn’t respond to that.
there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to when that happens. Can anyone explain when I can and can’t adjust the top speed?
also, on our model x you can check “minimize lane changes for this drive”. Is there a way to do that in the Cybertruck?

Mine drops speed on FSD engagement inconsistently - maybe half the time. I keep the go pedal pressed for a few seconds and then slowly ease off it to see if it will slow, and that at least makes it less jerky. For me, it's a fairly recent development - didn't happen a few FSD versions ago.

Same here. It seemed to start with v13, I never noticed it before that. Also it seems to be very inconsistent, at times it maintains speed appropriately and others it slows way down.

Yes this has been happening to me for the last few months. It didn't happen when I first got FSD but happened after one of the updates. I can't remember which one.

Very annoying for me and for passengers. It takes about 5 seconds for FSD to realize it needs to keep the speed I was at when I engaged it. Other Tesla models I've driven recently don't seem to exhibit this delay.
