FSD not respecting set speed with scroll wheel, never hits the limit

Nope, definitely didn't consider that fsd might be more correct than the posted speed limit.... Going 5 over is certainly unsafe, of course.

Higher speeds lead to more accidents. If FSD is supposed to be safer than human drivers, we should be glad that it respects speed limits.

Before you guys say it's completely safe, check your state for deaths per capita and deaths per miles.

Mine too. Have to use accelerator pedal to get higher speed but scroll wheel doesnt work at all for adjusting speed

same. the "old" FSD using the 300,000 lines of code did a much, much better job of speed handling. This one gets 5-10mph below the set speed and ever so slightly creeps up - sometimes or not at all - even if the road is completely clear ahead. Nudge it with the throttle and it's happy to keep the newly nudged (higher) speed but it doesn't like getting there on its own.

It also has a chronic tailgating problem - also never an issue with "old" FSD. And also unlike old FSD no way to set the follow distance that I've been able to discern as clicking left or right on the right-hand scroll wheel seems to have zero effect on anything.

When I bump mine up, I find it doesnt slow down when it knows it has to make a a right or left turn on a 90degree T. It flies into it and often misses the turn.

My CT likes to drive over center medians when making 90 degree left hand turns. If I see a left-hand turn like that coming up I've learned to take it out of FSD.

This is a known behavior currently. Set speed is simply a max. The vehicle will choose to go the speed that it wants based on conditions, even if that is slower than the posted speed limit.

There is definitely some tweaking to be done as it certainly can go too slow at times. I expect improvement in future software updates.

Replying because this is still a huge problem. Holding up traffic is not safe.

Happens on all version of FSD, just keep pressing the right scroll and say "Bug Report <your messge>"
