It’s got cruise control just not adaptive. Maybe with this parking sensor updates it’ll be able to register lane lines so we’ll have advanced autopilot. But that’s prob wishful thinking lol.
its adaptive for me

Side note: parallel parking with 4 wheel steering is incredibly easy. Fantastic.

FSD will come when it’s safe. My original 2016 S only had the basic autopilot features. FSD wasn’t even an option for years… it’ll come and it will likely be great.

Now what is really like is the damn roof rack… need those before ski season.

My bad adaptive might’ve been the wrong word. Whatever it’s called when it steers for you idk the name other car manufacturers use.
Autosteer and it's about 0% chance we get any of the legacy, pre-FSD features unless they stagger FSD feature releases. It's pretty obvious that they've focused all Cybertruck feature development into the unified FSD stack, so it makes no sense to implement Cybertruck vehicle dynamics into all of the individual product stacks that are used across the fleet of vehicles today. It's the same reason that vision based Teslas still don't have Smart Summon. Why spend development cycles on a stack you're deprecating...

If I had to guess, we're going to get Tesla Vision first and I won't be surprised if it doesn't even include the auto park features.

Bummer. I've been checking TeslaFI each day to see the roll outs and its obvious they are trying to get everyone to the 2024.26.7 branch. I thought that was in preparation for the big FSD release.

Parking assist will be nice - it got to the point with my HW3 Model Y that it could do it about as fast as I could, so I actually used it quite often (meaning it was good - not that I suck parking ).

Mostly, I'm just curious about the CT delay. Is it that resources are going to HW3 or is there something fundamentally hard with CT such as the rear steer? When it finally comes, it will be worth the wait.
