It clearly saw itself driving on the left side of a double yellow, which isn’t a thing.
well... 'almost' isn't a thing. there are some edge cases where FSD could have interpreted the water as an undrivable obstruction. I'm more concerned that it didn't set a hard limit when it was approaching the hill that you couldn't see over.

happened to me today. let it go for a while to see if it would correct, and it just carried on cruising along on the wrong side. I finally corrected it when I saw a car in the distance coming towards me.
next time try to signal, and see if FSD has an "oh... no" type moment lol

So, I am just arrived in Orlando and left the snow behind. The winter tires do hit the use. Maybe 20%!!

Max range from 90% to 20% is about 160 miles.

Plus FSD13 is still a little weird. It gives semis when passing so much room that it has put me on rumble strips twice on the left shoulder.

About 500 wpm at 70mph

Nearly 600wpm at 75ph. No wind but drafting helps a lot but can’t figure out how to draft with FSD. Just wants to pass. Lower max speed in settings and use chill does work pretty good. Got it down to 450wpm at 72mph with little passing and lots of drafting in Chill. Chill seems to default to the right lane, Standard center and Hurry gets you placed in the left lane as soon as you turn it on!

Two things happened today.
Close call in a blind merge, she never saw me. FSD just backed off and kept going.

And this. I went back to watch to see if the truck crowded the line, maybe a little. Then watch my CT go o the shoulder rumble strips! I disengaged at that point.

Same time frame, both sides of my CT with FSD engaged until I pulled it back into the center of the lane.

Mine will cross very clear double yellow lines every time on my way to gym in town. It makes a right turn, turns left out of right lane, and then turns down the left side of road. Horrible and has never got it right since we got FSD on any version. It would basically crash if I let it every time. That alone makes me never fully trust it, and it obviously doesn't do any learning locally.

This is my experience almost all the time with the semi’s. 🙁

First time this happened. CT turned onto side street and proceeded to drive on the wrong side of the road. Let it go like this for a while and then corrected it to the correct side of road.

How can FSD get this wrong? I’m so baffled.
It would've been useful to see the visualization, and see what it showed what it thought it was.

I did report it. Always report the major mess ups that can cause accidents such as running red lights also.

I had three today. Two lefthand turns that cut the corner and drove in the oncoming lane too long for comfort, plus once on the way out of town (going straight, good visibility) it just lurched left over a double yellow for no discernable reason whatsoever. I used some colorful language in the reports. The corner-cutting has happened a few times before but the mystery lurch was a bit of an emotional event.

If your desire is for FSD to drive as close to a human as possible, then it has to occasionally drive on the wrong side of the road. Hopefully it does it a little less often than actual humans (and avoids actually crashing head-on more often)! 🤪
