We've always had really good service at Tesla. We own 4 Tesla currently, two 2018 and two 2024, and they rarely need anything. I think I've been to Tesla service twice in the last two years, and they are always nice and accommodate us with any reasonable request. When I told them I would be over the 100 miles just driving their loaner home and back, they told me not to worry about it. Never had a problem.I LOVE Tesla vehicles, I ABSOLUTELY DETEST Tesla service. This is our 4th Tesla and NEVER, EVER had a reasonable service experience. When folks ask me about buying a Tesla, I always warn them of the service they will receive (or, NOT receive).
One time they had no loaner cars available and offered me a Uber credit. That's fine, I just hung out in the area and they had my car ready in three hours. I even found a great place 5 or 6 blocks away to eat lunch.
It's almost like Tesla Service exists just to serve me, rarely billing me for anything, and when they do bill me, it's very reasonable compared to a traditional dealership, with no BS. I could never go back to independent dealers who only exist to extract money from my wallet.
I can't count the number of times I requested what should have been a non-warranty repair, I had agreed to their estimated repair cost and, when I went to pick it up, they said they took care of it, no charge. I love going there except, for the 90 minute drive each way. Fortunately, they rarely need anything.
