I LOVE Tesla vehicles, I ABSOLUTELY DETEST Tesla service. This is our 4th Tesla and NEVER, EVER had a reasonable service experience. When folks ask me about buying a Tesla, I always warn them of the service they will receive (or, NOT receive).
We've always had really good service at Tesla. We own 4 Tesla currently, two 2018 and two 2024, and they rarely need anything. I think I've been to Tesla service twice in the last two years, and they are always nice and accommodate us with any reasonable request. When I told them I would be over the 100 miles just driving their loaner home and back, they told me not to worry about it. Never had a problem.

One time they had no loaner cars available and offered me a Uber credit. That's fine, I just hung out in the area and they had my car ready in three hours. I even found a great place 5 or 6 blocks away to eat lunch.

It's almost like Tesla Service exists just to serve me, rarely billing me for anything, and when they do bill me, it's very reasonable compared to a traditional dealership, with no BS. I could never go back to independent dealers who only exist to extract money from my wallet.

I can't count the number of times I requested what should have been a non-warranty repair, I had agreed to their estimated repair cost and, when I went to pick it up, they said they took care of it, no charge. I love going there except, for the 90 minute drive each way. Fortunately, they rarely need anything.

Is it just me, or am I wrong to expect a loaner car for my six figure CyberTruck that needs to have recall work done to it? They stated in my appointment scheduled for the 18th that it won’t be done until the 19th and that no loaner car will be provided, but I am welcome to wait?! When I asked them why I would not be provided a loaner car, they said it’s first come first serve and we may not have one. Am I missing something?!
They only have so many. Its a convivence, not a requirement. I've reschedule service visits to ensure I got one since I live a couple of hours away.

I went in for my 3rd pass. Tech basically said the post where it goes into the plate behind the fender is restricted. He could drill it and add some room for adjustment.

It’s a smudge better. My other issues with it being pushed out, or the fun house mirror I have for a drivers side did not get addressed. I actually thought after I was told they were defective I was going to end up with new ones.

The drive home - Spotify would not load. Like you tap it and nothing would happen. I tried other apps and nothing launched. I held down the wheels and rebooted. Still would not work. 5 miles later it pops up. Works for a song then goes to no internet.
I then go by a guy in the rain with his window down arm out thumb down and part of me just wanted to steer into him and solve 3 problems. 😂
