Take the mats out, then vacuum. Put mats back in and drive!

I use a vacuum while tapping around to bounce the loose bits around. After I get the loose bits I used some hot water from a flower watering can to pour over the Matt just enough to fill the grooves. Use a shop vac to remove the water and then finish it off with a microfiber to scrub the matt. Turns out amazing.

To solve this I use the carpet mats in the front and the all weather rubber mats in the back. The carpet mats can be brushed off with a micro fiber towel. The back doesn't get as much wear for us.
