Since this is not something I can correct myself easily, my assumption is Tesla service will need to do the correction especially since it was delivered like this. I will add this to my upcoming request.
It's not unreasonable to expect service to handle a pre-delivery defect. However, your presence on this forum means you are much better informed than most service personnel, and would likely do a better job.

But there's no reason not to let them try, yes?

I washed the truck for the first time today. First a foam cannon, then rinse, dry, repeated BKF, Windex. But the fingerprints refuse to go away. I also tried denatured alcohol with no effect. It’s driving me batty. ?

Does anyone have other recommendations? The truck was delivered this way but I didn’t think it would be this difficult to remove or else I would have said something at delivery.

Mine came with handprint and a lot of fingerprints on the bottom of the tailgate, also on the hood. Will see if service can remove it, if it ever gets into service.

Please provide more info on your truck brush. What brand, etc. looks like you found the sweet spot
I think any auto brush would work, this is the one I use, I've had it a long time and it doesn't show any wear:

Carrand Dip-N Brush Heavy Duty 10" Bi-Level Brush Head - CHE93079 (autobarn.net)

The Cybertruck with its super hard stainless steel is the lowest care vehicle I've ever owned. I don't try to keep it pristine at all times, but I do want it to look great (even if it has some mud splashes or road grime on it).

I LOVE the way the Cybertruck looks with minimal cleaning. Here are some photos after driving up a mountain road under sloppy conditions. The day before I had hosed off some mud from previous adventures but I didn't use soap or wipe it dry, so it started the trip less than clean.

I love the way the metal shines through and the fingerprints are minimal, generally just a little smudge by where I touch the door to close it:

I provided the three different angles of the driver's door to show it looks great from all angles. On the second day of ownership I did some spot testing of a couple of waxes but it looked awful, I think Tesla Delivery prep used some products to give it a shiny or "oily" look that interfered with the waxes. So I stripped the wax off the two test patches with some strong soapy hot water and I'm still curious how it will wax up after a good soapy washing, but I haven't got around to that experiment yet.

I also have some abrasive free Barkeepers Friend (in the spray bottle) but I haven't tried it out yet. I'm still interested in waxing it to see if it makes the mud easier to just hose off with a hose and garden spray nozzle. Without wax, I can hose off dried mud but not all of it, you can still faintly see the mud splashes. Same with bugs. Both require a soapy wash to remove entirely.

So far I think all the noise about the Cybertruck being hard to maintain is so overblown it's not even funny. Of course I don't know anyone around here who tries to keep their truck in concourse condition at all times. Most of us just want it to have a good presence and nice shine.

I don't see how it's much different from a painted car or truck. Since thse photos were taken, I drove it about 90 miles through variable rain showers. It has more road grime and is ready for a soapy wash to look it's best but that's pretty easy and what any car would require.

One thing I really like about washing the Cybertruck is I don't have to worry about scratches in the clearcoat from the truck brush, I just scrub the mud away after wetting it down with the garden sprayer. That HFS is really durable!

For soap I've used what I had on hand for our other cars:

Sonax car shampoo (pretty expensive stuff) and also a much cheaper Meguires auto soap (blue) in a big bottle that is cheap. They both seemed to work equally well. I think Joy or Dawn dish soap would probably work well too, but I haven't tried those yet.
