Has anyone put PPF on the exterior front windshield? If so, how has it worked and does it prevent rock chips as I’ve already gotten one nasty one.

Oh shit I tinted my front windshield with a light tint just to keep a little of the heat out if it's not in garage. Are we not sapose to tinted windshield or roof glass?

First off, I’ll leave the name I was about to use out of it because I realize you really have no idea of the entire post here. Your windshield is fine to tint any freaking darkness and paper type you want, why, because it is a single pane windshield.
Modern car windshields are pretty much all laminated safety glass: dual layer + adhesive, Teslas are no exception.

Tesla's dual pane roof and side glass is built the same as a windshield. Tinting is different through.
